Special medical coverage when out of U.S.!

Planning to travel outside the U.S.?

When traveling on vacation or a business trip and crossing a U.S. border, employer plans and Medicare have limited coverage. Thus, if an accident or medical situation happens in another country:

+ Finding an M.D. is very difficult  (usually).

+ It's  —  complex (usually) to figure out how to pay the M.D. or others!

I am pleased to make getting needed treatment outside the U.S. more accessible by offering unique medical plans with a Big Plus! The company:

          • helps you find the right kind and quality medical providers.

          • Has providers directly bill the plan, so no paying "on the spot" and waiting for reimbursement!

          • covers physician visits, ambulances, hospitalizations, and evacuation back home if medically necessary.

Buying an "out of the U.S." medical plan before you leave home is essential so you can enjoy your trip.

The links with bold plan names have information on the coverage and cost. Plus, it's  easy  to enroll:

  • Voyager Choice is ideal for a single trip, such as personal or business travel. Note:  + It can cover pre-existing conditions when you have a primary medical plan & COVID-19 19.  + You select the deductible and amount of coverage you want.  + It can be used for up to six months.

  • Navigator for Students  covers treatment  at 100% for individuals outside the U.S. or their country for at least three months? Treatment inside the U.S. is covered at 80% when a network provider is used and at 60% if an out-of-network provider is used. There is no Lifetime Maximum for medical treatment. It does have a $250,000 maximum if an emergency medical evacuation is needed.

  • The Crew Member Plan is for professional maritime crew members working outside their country. Plans are for at least six months per year. Available to U.S. or non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

  • The Missionary Plan is for individuals residing outside the U.S. for at least three months per year. Available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.l

Trip Protection Plan protects your deposit if your cruise or vacation is interrupted or cancelled. It also covers lost baggage. Owning this special insurance is highly recommended . It also has transportation back home if your medical problem requires it.

The Expat Medical plan is for International citizens coming to the U.S. The plan covers medical situations  here in the U.S. The page will show the cost by putting your zip code in the box on the top right.
